The Goldendale Lady Timberwolves have advanced to the state 1A regional playoffs coming up this weekend, with their rather convincing victory Saturday over the Connell Lady Eagles. Paced by Lexi Cameron’s game high 21 points and 9 rebounds, the wolves picked up an early first quarter lead and never looked back defeating Connell 52–35 up in Toppenish.
Andrea Keffeler added 12 points, including a couple of big 3-pointers in the third quarter to insure the victory for Goldendale.
The voice of the Timberwolves, Dick Patzer, says with this district win on Saturday, the Lady Wolves will seed third going into the Regionals this weekend up in Wenatchee.
